RACE COMMENT
HORN PLAYER (2) continues to race well with a string of wins and placings, the last few outings coming in stronger company including a last-start third at Listed level. Won from wider the last time he raced in this grade. Yet to miss place in six tries at this circuit and distance and has the gate speed to take advantage of the low draw. ROCLEA IMAGE (4) ran above market expectations when runner-up in the Vic Frost FFA last week, beating Horn Player home. Draws a couple of spots closer to the pegs. Contender. ARDENS ACE (11) cops a wide barrier but won from there three back and was a solid fourth in the Vic Frost last week. VAN BASTEN (5) draws lower than in recent attempts and will also enjoy a class drop. DANGEROUS THREATS (1) gets the ace draw and may feature again off back-to-back wins.
