RACE COMMENT
  OVERVIEW: ALOT LIKE LOUIE (9) progressed forward to race without cover and fought very hard when a brave second behind Perun at Bendigo last week. He is racing consistently and deserves to break through for a win. CRIME WRITER (1) trailed the leader and appeared to have his chance when fifth last outing. He has been a little below his best form recently but he appears to be very well graded in this event so a bold showing is expected. CLEAR LEFT (2) gained a nice trail and finished fifth (2m) behind Maxnjax in a good finish last week. He possesses early speed and is drawn to gain a nice trail just off the pace again so he is worth a ticket each way. PESCI (8) attempted to lead throughout when third at Bendigo last week. He has been placed at his past three attempts against similar grade and should gain an economical run on the markers throughout so he should run his usual honest race.   EARLY SPEED: 2 (possible leader), 1,3,4 RATINGS: 9/ 1,2/ 8/ 5/ 4,7,11/ FIELD
