JADES DIAMOND (8) is a horse that showed promise early in her career before a long layoff. Returned with an average effort when finishing last in a tougher race. A few weeks since that run and having been first up there for a long time can forgive and looks a likely improver second up. THE REAL VANESSA (2) has the key draw advantage on main rivals. Lead and won her only career win. HURRIKANE JEWELS (6) brings in reasonable form to this race. First up and a wide draw certainly dampen her chances but she may be able to figure with luck. EBONY BELLE (9) is unsuited by the outside back row draw. Was able to obtain the leaders back trail two starts ago to finish second before working hard in the early stages last start.
