RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ROCKANDANCE (11) has won five of his nine starts for the season and gets into this race nicely with the aid of a concession claim. He finished off best to defeat Mona Mia in a slick mile rate of 1.53.6 at Yarra Valley last outing and is capable of overcoming the poor draw. ALBY TWO CHAINS (10) began quickly to lead and went down fighting when a close second behind He’s Charlies Angel at Bendigo last week. He showed a return to form last outing and appears to be well placed against this field. TARA VICTORY (1) is competing outside of her class range but she ran a cracking race for third behind the top pacer Captain Ravishing in a mile of 1.52.5 at Geelong last week so she must be respected.
