OVERVIEW: SLOANIE BEL (4) is a first starter for trainer Isabel Walsh, which won a trial over Anywherehugoigo (won since) then followed with a fifth at a Shepparton trial performance. She has ability and is worth an investment. GOODTIME CAPTAIN (3) is another debutante, which must be kept safe. He won a trial at Bacchus Marsh on Saturday and is drawn to give a bold showing. POPS JOY (9) finished off nicely when third at her debut in Sydney and is backing up quickly from her effort at Bendigo on Wednesday. She is poorly drawn but appears to be hard to beat. WICKED MITZI (5) possesses early speed and has been placed in four of her past five starts.
