RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: NO NEIGH PHILTRA (5) is resuming since a third behind the smart mare Ludacrous in May but he finished second in fast time at a Shepparton trial effort last week and should run a big race first up. MAJOR BERT (3) appreciated a drop back in class from the Super Series events when third at Yarra Valley. He is backing up quickly from his effort at Bendigo on Wednesday night but he should be competitive against this line up. SLICE OF CHEDDAR (6) finally reproduced his strong trial form on the race track when he led throughout to win at Ararat on Sunday. He faces a negative swing in the barrier draw but he is worth thought again. BRUISED EGO (7) is resuming since May but he is a speedy pacer and should be competitive if he is somewhere near his peak form.   EARLY SPEED: 1 (possible leader), 2,4,6 RATINGS: 5/ 3,6/ 7/ 1,2/ 3,4
