RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: MUMPAYSTHEBILLS (9) has done well in her three starts since October 2022 and should be reaching her peak form. She missed out narrowly behind the smart filly Mega Spur at Yarra Valley two starts ago then proved too strong at Bendigo last outing. TOUGHER (8) was resuming since December when she finished off well for a close second at Kilmore. She is nicely bred and performed well at her Victorian debut so she must be respected. MAGIC LAW (4) is a fast beginner and is a good chance of finding the lead shortly after the start. She was placed in the Maryborough Oaks on July 31 so she must be considered as one of the leading chances. CYCLONE KADABRAMELIA (5) is also a fast beginner and is capable of filling a place.
