RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: HOORAH PHILTRA (11) defeated a handy field when he won the Super Series Bronze event then followed with a ninth in the Reg Withers Classic. He is a capable 3yo pacer and should prove hard to beat against this class. JACCKA CONNOR (9) has been racing at Metropolitan level so he appears to be very well placed in this grade. He had little luck from an awkward draw when unplaced behind Tiger Band Wagon at Melton last time out. THEROCKGOD (5) has been racing in very good form but has had no luck whatsoever at his recent performances. He possesses a powerful finishing burst and will be suited if the leaders go hard in the early stages of the event. TOORAM CEE CEE (6) used the pole position to his advantage when he led throughout to win in a mile of 1.56.6 at Charlton last outing.
