RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SHAQ (4) is resuming since June but he raced without cover for the final 700m and battled on well for second at a Bendigo trial effort last week so he should run a good race first up. BANDIT EYES (8) would clearly be the top pick had he drawn on the front line but he may be shuffled back on the markers from the awkward draw. He settled in a rearward position and finished off strongly for a game third behind Honest Harriette at Shepparton last week. LENIU (9) backed up several handy trial performances with a runaway victory at his debut. He is facing a steep rise in class but he obviously has ability and is worth following.
