OVERVIEW: HURRICANE JANE (2) left a trailing position and moved up without cover when fourth behind Partytime after a close second behind Dona Amalia. She is racing well and is worth an investment. BENNIE AND THE JETS (11) has galloped as the popular elect at his only two Australian starts to date. He is resuming since June and hasn’t been to the trials but his form in New Zealand was sound so he cannot be left out of calculations. LIZZIES SON (10) was confidently supported at Yarra Valley last outing but he broke stride at the start and lost his chance. He is better than his form reads and must be included amongst the leading chances.
