OVERVIEW: ALAMO (6) has been placed at his past three attempts and deserves to break through for a win. He led out then took cover and had no luck in the straight when third behind Jimmy Breeze in a slick mile rate of 1.55.5 at Ballarat last outing. LA FRANK (7) has ability but is still learning. He settled midfield and didn’t have much room in the straight when third at Swan Hill last week. ROYLE BLOOD (1) has been runner up in two of her past three starts and is drawn to go well again. She settled three back on the markers and finished a distant second behind Leniu last week.
