RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ROYAL CHARLOTTE (7) hasn’t been at her best form recently but she does appear to be extremely well graded in this event and gets her chance to bounce back into the winning list. She was placed behind the in-form trotter Picket Wire two starts ago then broke stride when in a striking position on the home turn at Geelong last week. DALEY WATERS (1) has chased home the champion filly Keayang Zahara at her past two attempts and she is ideally drawn over the 1200m so she should be very competitive. HES THEMIGHTYSPIN (6) was runner up over this distance two starts ago then came from the handicap of 30m when he scored impressively at Ararat. He has won six races this season and must be considered as a winning chance again. RASTAMON (4) is a fast beginner and should be prominent throughout. AARDIES PEAK (2) performed very nicely at the trials last week and is a possible improver. EARLY SPEED: 4 (possible leader), 1,6,7 RATINGS: 1,7/ 6/ 2,4/ 5/ 3
