RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: LORIMERMAJOR (4) hasn’t won a race in 27 starts for the season but he finished stylishly from a rearward position when second behind Arraps (head) at Shepparton last week so he appears to be close to the money. His last win was over Do Not Surrender and Lottie Moon in a National Ratings 55-62 event so he appears to be well placed here! DEUCE COUPE (8) settled at the tail of the field and made up many lengths over the concluding stages when second at his first run for trainer Jodi Quinlan. He is a speedy type and looms as one of the leading chances. HARBOUR SPRINGS (7) ran into a dead end in the latter stages and had little luck in the Super Series Silver event at her debut. She couldn’t make ground in a sizzling final quarter of 26.9 seconds at her latest performance and is worth another chance.
