RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SERG BLANCO (10) hasn’t had much racing recently but he is clearly the class horse of the field and will take beating if he is somewhere near his peak form. He hasn’t started since a second at Menangle in August but he did win a trial at Shepparton last week. IDEAL ESCAPE (9) is first up since June and hasn’t been to the trials but like SERG BLANCO (10), he does appear to be well graded in this event. His form tapered off at the end of his last campaign but he was competitive at open class level when he was racing at his peak. INVITATION ONLY (4) began quickly to find the lead and was run down at the end when third at Wagga last week. He should be fitter from that performance and is worth another chance. GYPSY PRINCESS (3), VEE EM GEE MACRAY (5) and OUR VINCENT CAN GOGH (8) are all capable of showing up without surprising. EARLY SPEED: 4 (possible leader), 2,3,5 RATINGS: 10/ 4,9/ 8/ 3,5
