RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: CHAMPAGNE CHARLEY (9) galloped away and made up many lengths when sixth at Ballarat last outing. His trial form has been very good and he should be competitive against this line up. TICTOK (8) would clearly be the horse to beat if she produces a fool proof display but she has broken stride in both of her starts since resuming. She has been performing nicely at the trials and she likes to run along at a genuine tempo when she is able put it altogether. WATCH AND ACT (6) produced his best effort for some time when he raced without cover throughout and went down fighting at his latest third. This race is no harder and he is worth thought again. YOU NO ILL BE LATE (7) has been able to work back into his peak form and gets into this race with a concession claim so he must be considered.
