RACE COMMENT
  OVERVIEW: AUSSIE MUSCLE (7) is resuming since a third at Yarra Valley in November 2023 but he recorded handy time when he won a Bacchus Marsh trial on Saturday and he strikes a suitable assignment first up so he must be respected. MAXIMEZ (5) is a tough 3yo that won comfortably at Charlton last outing and looms as the logical danger. He has been placed at his past five starts and should be prominent throughout. DAISY BOUCHEA (3) was able to hold the lead from the pole position and proved to be too strong at Terang last outing. She has won five races for the season and looms as one of the leading chances again.
