RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: REOFFENDER (5) is a very smart South Australian trotter, which is backing up from his effort in the Southern Cross Final at Globe Derby on Saturday night. He produced a very brave performance to win his heat of that series and he can be competitive against his Victorian rivals. MYSTERY FRED (8) has been racing at the elite level and is better than his numerical form reads. He finished fifth in the Super Series, seventh in the Tatlow Stakes and seventh in the Redwood Classic so he is likely to find this assignment to be easier. OLD DOMINION (1) is a fast beginner and is drawn to be prominent throughout. He pushed forward to find the lead and battled on well for third at Maryborough last week.
