RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: BARWEN STORM (4) led out then took cover when second behind the smart pacer Sirlou (won again since) in a sizzling mile rate of 1.52.0 at Wagga last outing. He is very versatile and should run a big race again. WAZOWSKI (2) did well during the Homegrown Classic series where second in a heat followed by a fourth in the Final. She performed below expectations when last of seven at Shepparton on January 07 but she is much better than that run suggests and is worth another chance. HEZ HARRYWHO (8) performs best when he is able to lead so he is awkwardly drawn on the inside of the second line but he will appreciate a significant drop back in class for this assignment. He has won five of his nine starts at Shepparton previously so he must be respected.
