OVERVIEW: CALF PEN (4) showed ability when putting together two victories in December but has showed his quirks in four of his six subsequent runs. It is a risk to tip him, but he is arguably the best horse, so a chance is taken on him. HESASTAR (7) draws economically and has been going well. He struck bother recently and can be forgiven for that. OH SWEET CREATURE (1) draws to lead first-up for Aaron Coad.
