RACE COMMENT
SUN WUKONG (9) started favourite in three of his four career starts so far and hasn’t quite broken through for an elusive maiden victory. This looks significantly easier than some the races he landed in last time in and should have derived benefit from a recent trial at Albion Park LITTLE SURFER GIRL (2) has good gate speed and may be able to find the front from a good draw. Trialled up reasonably at Redcliffe behind Stormtide and did show some ability last time in despite only placing in one of eleven starts. ANIMORE (6) made a break on her first start in QLD before running well sitting without cover and beating Toffee Nose home who she repossess in this race. May need to do the work again in this race. TOFFEE NOSE (7) appeared to be a bit disappointing last start after obtaining the leaders back trail she could only battle on for a distant third. She would need to lift to be a winning chance in this race.
