RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: KING SAINT (8) led throughout to win at Shepparton two starts ago then followed with a sixth in a strong race at Swan Hill. He is awkwardly drawn but will take holding out if he can gain the right luck in running. SOHO PLAYGIRL (12) pushed forward to race without cover and was too strong in the run to the finish when she scored at Bendigo last week. She drops back to the second row now but is worth thought again. WITH IN REASON (9) was placed in a slick mile rate of 1.56.9 at Shepparton two starts ago then wasn’t far away when fifth at Kilmore. This race is no harder so he should be competitive again. SKINNY HORACE (10) should be reaching his peak form after having two starts back from a spell and he drops back in grade for this assignment so he is not without a chance.
