RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: KORENGAL VALLEY (5) continues to improve with the benefit of racing and is ready to break through for a win. He settled in the second half of the field and finished off strongly when second behind Harley Lane at Cranbourne last outing. HITCH TO HIS STAR (8) attempted to lead throughout and kicked back strongly once challenged when a close second behind Mighty Bling last week. He is awkwardly drawn on the inside of the second line but he did finish off strongly when second on debut. KYORETSU (11) settled in a rearward position and angled out very wide on the home turn when a handy finishing fourth at his debut. He performed well at a Melton trial prior so he must be included amongst the leading chances. LOUBELL (1) and the debutante MY BEAUTIFUL LIFE (4) both are worth thought in multiple combinations.
