RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MY UNCLE STAN (8) finished off best to win in a mile rate of 1.53.8 three starts ago and hasn’t been beaten far at his past two attempts. He is racing in peak form and will take holding out in the run to the finish. SWEETPASSION (9) was resuming since August when he led throughout and dominated his rivals at Ararat. He should be improved by that performance and is capable of taking the next step forward. ALOT LIKE LOUIE (7) competed in the Melton Plate two starts ago then made ground from a rearward position at his latest eighth (8m) behind Sir Jimmy. He is widely drawn but should be hitting the line strongly. PRIORITISE (2) finished fifth in the Mildura Cup last outing and he is drawn to obtain a prominent position so he is not without a chance.
