RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: OUR PRINCESS DI (7) hasn’t started since June but she is a quality mare when racing at her peak form and strikes a suitable field first up. She hasn’t been at her best in three recent trial performances but she should be working towards her peak. CEE CEE LOU (4) is resuming since a second behind Rabada in a strong race at Gunbower in December but finished fourth in a strong trial at Bendigo on Monday night. He is a versatile pacer and has performed nicely at the trials so he must be respected. EAGLE MAJOR (6) was held up for a run at a vital stage and finished off solidly for fourth behind Heaven’s Gift at Bendigo last week. He led throughout at a Maryborough victory prior and looms as one of the leading chances again. ROWDY CHRISTIAN (3) endured a tough run when a game second at Bendigo last week and is not without a chance.
