RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: HOLD THAT MAGIC (13) is poorly drawn but has performed extremely well at her past two attempts and is nearing a win. She finished off well for third behind the handy trotter Sista Evarista at Bendigo last outing. ABBIE (9) commenced from the inside of the second line and was shuffled back on the markers in the early stages before angling wide at the 300m when a game second at Bendigo last week. She is racing in good form and should run her usual honest race. SKY LINDY (10) is resuming since January and hasn’t been to the trials but she is a smart mare when racing at her peak form and she did beat Promise Dream at a Shepparton victory two starts ago so she must be respected. MAGIC LAW (2) is racing consistently and is drawn to gain a trail just off the speed so she is not without a chance. EARLY SPEED: 5 (likely leader), 1,2,3 RATINGS: 13/ 9,10/ 2/ 3,5,7/ 11
