RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: BYRNESIDE BOOM (7) is very durable and is capable of overcoming the wide draw. He settled in the second half of the field and sustained a long run when a close second behind I Of The Hurrikane last outing and he recorded quick time at a Shepparton victory on April 15. DIRECT COMMAND (8) pushed forward to find the lead and recorded a slick mile rate of 1.56.2 when he scored at Shepparton two weeks ago. He had little luck from a similar awkward draw at Kilmore last outing and is worth another chance. HIGH FLUX (3) should be getting fitter after having three starts back from a break and he will appreciate a significant drop back in class for this assignment so an improved effort is likely. MAGNETIC STORM (5) finished off best from a nice trail when he scored at Shepparton then followed with a fourth behind Telern Lofty after he was left stranded without cover. He is racing well enough to figure in the finish. EARLY SPEED: 2 (possible leader), 3,4 RATINGS: 7/ 3,8/ 5/ 2
