RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MIDNITE DESIRE (5) received the perfect trip courtesy of a great drive from Jordan Leedham when he won last week but he defeated a field of very similar quality so there is no reason why he can’t win again. DOT BALL (8) was strongly supported ($2-90 fav) at Kilmore last outing but tired after setting the speed. She is not often in the front running role and she is usually competitive against this class so she is worth another chance. MICTON MOUSE (4) appeared to have his chance from behind the leader last week but he was placed at his previous three attempts and he usually likes to run along at an even speed so he is capable of bouncing back here. PICKLE IT (3) worked hard to hold the lead and was run down in the latter stages when eighth last week. He can improve if he doesn’t have to use too much energy to find the front in the early stages here. EARLY SPEED: 3 (likely leader), 2,4,6 RATINGS: 5/ 4,8/ 3/ 7
