OVERVIEW: TO THE NINES (9) is in outstanding form with three brilliant victories from his last four starts and a very honourable second at Ouyen behind Glenlea Hanover. He has the highest barrier to overcome but he came from a worse barrier draw to win a better race last week, so he is near on impossible to tip against. SURFIN AT MIDNIGHT (5) has been behind TO THE NINES (6) at each of his last two and could possibly turn the tables if he gets luck on his side. He clearly rates second over WATCHTHECLOCK (8) who is a good place chance for the in-form combination of Corey Johnson and Anthony Schembri. LORD VERDE (4) rates next.
