RACE COMMENT

BRONX (5) was a good effort when first up in QLD two starts ago behind My Scimitar who simply had a softer run in the race. He sat without cover last start after making a mid-race move and battled on well behind Sweet Lad Jujon to run second. He appears to possess good gate speed and if he found himself on the front end he would prove hard to catch. TWILIGHT TANGO (9) was impressive on debut for the new stable first up in QLD when running on late into second behind I Got Chills in solid time for a restricted wins race. She then led last start and appeared to have every chance there when second to Our Lucy Lou. They did run 28.7, 28.7 on the way home in that race which suggests her own run was still good enough for a race of this nature. SHEROCKSMYWORLD (8) has been well beaten in recent starts. She did take on a heat of the QBRED Breeders Classic last start and was a sound enough effort there. UNCUT GEM (6) has a wide draw which looks to make things tough in this race. Has shown good ability this campaign and goes in as one of the main chances for the minor money.
