RACE COMMENT
DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (1) led over the Trot Rods 947m journey and was a dominant winner racing away to score by 11.7 metres. He draws to lead again in this race from the good gate and if he does he should prove hard to catch again. CONVAIR HUSTLER (7) ran a very good race last start when leading. Looks to get a really good run through in the early stages of this race following a gate speed horse in Downtown Manhattan. TRACER BULLET (4) looks to be well graded in this race and can generally do some work in this type of grade. He was a distant third last start behind Downtown Manhattan on Trot Rods finals night so will need to lift to turn the tables there. GALVARINO (5) is having its first run for Chloe Butler. Trialled up fairly when narrowly beaten in a recent trial.
