RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: REIGN EM IN (6) races best when he is able to lead so moving to the front line is crucial to his chances. He led when second behind Chey’s Angel (won again since) two starts ago then missed out narrowly after commencing from the inside of the second line last week. VILLAROCK (4) finished quickly from off the speed to claim victory against similar opposition at Bendigo last week. He is a fast beginner and he should be competitive again. WICKED MITZI (10) will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment and looms as one of the leading chances. She led and was run down last week but her best performances have generally been when she has raced over the sprint distance so she is likely to find this assignment to be more suitable. SERENE ROCK (13) followed a big second behind Tenaciously at Bendigo with a victory last week, where he came from a long way back. This is a race of more depth but he is racing too well to dismiss.
