RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: ROLLWITHARTY (2) has been placed in three of his past four starts and gets his chance to break through a win. He only missed out by a slender margin in a mile rate of 1.58.9 on April 10 and he held his own in fast final sectionals at his latest Cranbourne third. FRANCS FOR COMING (1) is backing up quickly from his effort at Shepparton on Tuesday (if he doesn’t win that event) and his performance at Bendigo on May 28 after he was left stranded without cover and hit the front from the 600m would suggest he will be highly competitive here. ILOVEACALENDERGIRL (6) has performed well in her two starts back from a spell and is not without a chance. She attempted to lead throughout and was run down late when second at Cranbourne last outing. DENVER COLORADO (8) had every chance from behind the leader at his latest second but he is drawn to receive a similar trip so he is capable of figuring in the finish.
