RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: It is a tough race to end the program with a field of eight maiden trotters. PRINCESS DU FER (3) has had a few chances but she is maintaining a consistent form line and should give a forward showing again. CALDERS REVENGE (4) was slow to begin from the pole position but circled around to find the lead at the 1300m when fifth at Maryborough last time out. She was placed behind Parlezvous Patty when on debut and is worth thought again. The two debutantes AQUILA PHOENIX (1) and WATTS UP THE HILL (2) both are with strong stables but have had extensive trial campaigns. They strike a suitable field first up so they must be kept safe. ALDEBARAN BRIANNA (7) did well to finish as close as she did after galloping away at Kilmore and has the ability to show up if she delivers a foolproof display.
