OVERVIEW: ALWAYS BE BLAKEY (11) performed below expectations when unplaced at Geelong last outing but he is the class runner of the field and would take beating if he returned to his peak. He scored at Metropolitan level last campaign and he was runner up in a sizzling mile rate of 1.53.8 at Hamilton two starts ago. RUEBE STARBUCK (4) endured a tough run when second at Ballarat two starts ago then attempted to lead throughout when a close up fourth behind Dance Affair at Geelong last outing.
