RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SOHO PLAYGIRL (8) is awkwardly drawn but appears to be the class runner of the field. She began fast to lead, set up a very genuine tempo and was run down by the smart pacer Pick Up Elvis in a slick mile rate of 1.54.5 at Bendigo on Wednesday night. INTERPRETATION (11) began quickly to lead, raced fiercely and battled on well for second at Echuca last week. She has been runner up in three of her past four starts and she is capable of sprinting to the line quickly with the right trail forward so she must be respected. MCWIZARD (10) began quickly to find the lead and was run down late when third behind WITHIN REASON (12) last outing. He is better than his form reads and is not without a chance.
