RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: SETTLE THE BILL (10) broke stride and lost her chance when unplaced at Echuca last week. Her form prior was strong and she has won six of her ten starts on the Shepparton circuit so she must be respected. STARLIGHT RED (7) has won two of her past three starts and has the early speed to gain a prominent position in the early stages. She defeated a field of similar quality at Echuca last outing so she must be considered as a winning chance again. VAN DOREN (5) worked home well from the second half of the field when third behind STARLIGHT RED (7) at Echuca last week. He was narrowly beaten by Allwatfunjingles at Kilmore prior so he is worth a ticket each way. KALARNEY PRINCE (2) and IM IN STYLE (6) are both capable of showing up without surprising.
