RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: ASMILEANDAWINX (9) bounced back into winning form with a victory at Ballarat last week, where she dashed home in a slick final half of 56.6 seconds. She does race best when she is able to lead but she is one of the class runners of the field and must be considered as a winning chance again. SASSYOLA (11) is backing up quickly from her effort at Maryborough on Wednesday but she is a versatile mare and is racing in peak form so she must be included amongst the leading chances. SALSAWITHSIERRA (5) raced without cover for the majority of the trip when he proved too strong for Cinquanta (won since) two starts ago then followed with a fourth ($1-75 fav) at Ballarat. She is a fast beginner and should give another bold showing from her good draw. OCEANIQUE (3) and I LIKE WHAT I SEE (6) are both racing well enough to figure in the finish.
