RACE COMMENT

OVERVIEW: REACH THE PEAK (2) was severely checked on the first corner and lost all chance when making his debut ($2-70) back in December. He finished a close second behind stable mate Some Magic in fast time at a recent Terang trial performance and should take beating under these conditions. OLIVIA ROSE (3) finished strongly from the second half of the field to claim victory over Final Bow at Ballarat last week. She has won four races for the season and looms as one of the leading chances again. KALKADOON DREAMING (7) put together three straight victories at the beginning of the season and bounced back to that good form at his latest victory, where overcame a hard run and was strong at the finish. He performs best when he is close to the lead so the wide draw is a disadvantage but he is not without a chance.
