RACE COMMENT
FOUR FEATHERS (1) has good gate speed and should be able to do enough to hold the lead early. Last time he drew this gate he elected to take a trail but over the shorter 1780 journey he may be given his chance out in front. DREAM MELODY (9) was a good winner three starts ago over the 2040 journey. She draws favourably and can sprint strongly off a soft run which she looks likely to get from this draw. Would appreciate a solid early tempo for her to run on late. PLANET DOWNS (7) looks likely to secure a very good run through in the early stages on the back of the likely leader Four Feathers. Wasn’t beaten far last start in a strong restricted wins race behind Misterpresident. OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (6) was a strong winner two starts ago over Pretty Little Liar at this track. Draws a wide gate here but can be running onh again.
