RACE COMMENT

KICKING HORSE (2) has been the standout 2YO trotter so far this year having scored three victories from four starts. He made a break for the first time in his career last start having looked fairly safe prior to that in his races. ICONIC IMAGE (1) has been impressive so far in QLD having scored back to back wins before a last start third after making an early break. Apart from the last start effort he had been stepping away fast from the stand starts and should be able to put himself in a good position early in this race.  FREDIDRIVSAMERCURY (5) broke through to win in just his second start last time out. Should be better for the experience there and with further improvement having his third career start in this race should be hard to beat.  DESIRING DIAMONDS (7) wasn’t beaten far last start when running second. She did seemingly have her chance there but has shown ability and with further experience through her last start effort she should be thereabouts in this race.
