RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: COMMODUS (2) was resuming since a second in the New South Wales Derby in May when he led throughout to win the Wagon Apollo at Bendigo. He is drawn to lead again and will take catching over the sprint distance. ALRIGHTY (9) is drawn behind COMMODUS (2) so he should gain a nice trail through in the early stages. He raced without cover throughout when second at his latest appearance and he is capable of running fast time over the sprint distance. VYTIS (6) finished off strongly to win at Melton two starts ago then followed with a third in the Wagon Apollo. He is awkwardly drawn but has the class to test this field. TRACY THE JET (3) is resuming since a second in the New South Wales Oaks in May but she has performed nicely at the trials and is worth a ticket each way. NO MONEY NO HONEY (8) has a nice trailing draw and KEAYANG KURKI (10) has ability when he is able to put it altogether. EARLY SPEED: 2 (likely leader), 1,5 RATINGS: 2/ 6,9/ 3/ 10/ 8
