RACE COMMENT
VINDICATE (9) took on a strong Band 5 for the Mares last start which was taken out by Miss Idaho in fast time. She drops back a long way into this race and appears to draw favourably where she can be sat up for one run at them and would be suited by a genuine early tempo. BETTING JEWEL (6) got back in the run last start and ran over the top after being suited by a strong tempo. She is quite versatile and has shown in recent outings she is capable of working and still being there at the finish. MUCH BETTOR (1) has good early speed giving him options at the start whether he hands over or looks to take them all the way. He didn’t make much impression last start when getting back in the run but it did appear a stronger race which was taken out by Ultimate Miki. PENNIE PACKER (7) should get a good run through at the start on the back of a gate speed horse in Much Bettor. She took on what appeared to be a stronger race last start which was taken out by Platinum Jewel at Albion Park.
