RACE COMMENT

ROCKNREASON (3) ran well last start after drawing a wide gate and not being beaten far when running fourth at Albion Park. Doesn’t appear to be a horse with much early speed which could make the draw in 3 a touch awkward. Looks to bring the best form into the race and should be hard to beat.   VEESIGN (8) made a good start to his career with two placings before being forced to do the work two starts ago and just getting tired late behind Our Ultimate Penny. He should get a reasonable run through early in this race and if the race is run to suit he can be running into it late.  GLENEAGLE FIRE (2) draws favourably in this race and drops a long way back in grade off recent outings having taken on the QBred Triad series for the 2YO Filly’s. She should be able to secure a good run and can be thereabouts. THEFAULTINMYSTARS (5) didn’t have much luck when returning last start after drawing poorly before being checked at a crucial stage in the race. Showed ability last time in and with a bit more luck in running can figure somewhere in the finish.
