RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: CAULONIA BELLA (7) left a trailing position to move up without cover when fifth at Mildura last week. She finished off best to defeat My Ultimate Jimmy (won twice since) at Mildura on July 11, which is an excellent form pointer for this event. THE AFRICAN QUEEN (4) has been placed in two of her past three starts and was able to beat CAULONIA BELLA (7) to the line last week so he looms as the logical danger. MISTER BOOMBASTIK (5) performed below expectations at his Mildura debut but he is meeting an easier field here so an improved effort would not surprise. CHEDDAR ME THIS (6) and CORNELIA (8) could both show up without surprising. EARLY SPEED: 5 (possible leader), 1,6 RATINGS: 7/ 4/ 5,6/ 8/ 1
